Climate Insight
Turning climate observations into understandable information.

Climate data needs context to be useful.
Climate and satellite observations can be difficult to interpret. For communities and farmers, information matters when it can be understood in relation to the questions they face.
Climate Insight was framed around climate monitoring and carbon footprint, with the aim of interpreting satellite data, informing communities and supporting farmers. These are project goals, not measured outcomes.
Observe, interpret, communicate.
The project’s stated approach links environmental observations to an interpretation and then to information for its intended audience. The diagram shows that conceptual flow; it does not assert a specific data provider, processing pipeline or deployed user interface.
The communication step matters as much as access to the data: an explanation should remain understandable without claiming more than the observations support.

Contributing to the backend in a team.
I contributed to backend development as part of the GAIAthon team. My work supported the software side of a project intended to make climate-related information more accessible.
The project was developed and presented collectively. The team result should not be confused with an individual claim over all data analysis, interfaces or product decisions.
Second place nationally at GAIAthon 2025.
The team achieved second place nationally at GAIAthon 2025. That is the competition result for the project as a whole.
My personal contribution was backend development. The available information does not establish adoption, forecast accuracy or an improvement in agricultural yields.
A competition result, not measured field impact.
The project aimed to inform communities and support farmers. No real-world adoption, predictive performance, scientific validation or agricultural gains are claimed.
The exact satellite sources, processing methods, backend framework and delivered endpoints are not documented in the available project material, so they are not listed as implementation facts.
The project’s recognition belongs to the team; my contribution was backend development.
